What’s The Story is a PR, communication and marketing consultancy based in Oslo, Norway. And yes, our name is indeed inspired by that Oasis album.

Sven Ove Bakke (born 1975) established What’s The Story in 2023. He made his name with a nearly two-decade tenure as a prolific music and culture journalist for the Norwegian national daily, Dagbladet. Immersed in journalism, storytelling, communication, and marketing for most of his life, Sven began his journey as a freelance journalist at the tender age of 13 for the Glåmdalen local newspaper in his quaint hometown of Kongsvinger. Situated southeast of Oslo, near the Swedish border, Kongsvinger is famed for its fortress and an occasionally top-tier football club.
Sven’s extensive expertise encompasses content marketing, social media, digital channels, content distribution, advertising, SEO, and internal communications. His passion? Weaving compelling narratives and perfecting content marketing.
